Anyway, the youth camp was from 17th to 19th December which is Thursday to Saturday. Thursday of course, is a school holiday but it DOESN'T APPLY TO UTARIANS. So as usual i had my 6 hours from 12pm to 6pm but me and Esmond decided to skip the last lecture - WEB PAGE DESIGN. Hopefully we didnt miss anything important?
I fly bicycle back to my room and pack up the rest of the things and then Ee Chiet arrive infront of my house and then i got in. By the time we arrive in Grand Kampar Hotel was like 5pm and the others were already on with their games and me and Esmond were like Kelefe (extras) walking around finding things to help out in.
My roommate was Zack (nice!) and my group's name is Abram - Abraham.
F.Y.I Abraham is the father of all nations (refer to Genesis chapter 17)
Me and Esmond are part of the commitee of the camp (COOL!) and were incharge in the games on Friday. We get to turtore people! yeah! - NO LA. no torture la, just have fun from a different role in the games.
For the sessions, we had Pastor Jason which is from KL to preach to us. HE was AWESOME!
And here it goes, base on what i took down.
Session 1 - Make What Over?
There is 2 things that we all aim to accomplish through this camp, to have an unforgettable makeover and a permanent change. The change does not only mean physical/outer appearance but the inside/spiritual change. Life has it's purpose. God don't make life for fun and just to let them roam around on Earth. God has a purpose set for every life he made and it is for us with life to look for that purpose. Likewise, we all do things for a purpose. Everything is for a purpose. Sometimes we might just do it for FUN, but FUN is also a purpose. To look for one's purpose is to seek the truth of life which BEGINS and ENDS with JESUS CHRIST.
True change begins when we marry our abilities with who we are. In our lives, we are all seeking for something absolute, something that is still or constant. If we notice, there is nothing constant around us including our ABILITIES and POTENTIAL. Everything is changing continuosly whether its slow or fast, it is stil a change. Our identity and authority is SOLID and this can be known from knowing our creator, our Father Jesus Christ because HE is forver/eternally the same - yesterday, today or tomorrow. God is LOVE and LOVE is God. God's LOVE has no limits and there is no limit to the LOVE that we can receive from HIM. We can take as much from HIM as we want and HE shall give.
We must be aware of who we are and to have the make over not from the outsidein but from the insideout and its up to us to know HIM to know our true purpose, identity and authority which all in all, the TRUTH.

Session 2 - Whats the Big Deal about the Makeover?
Why do we need a belief system?
Like it or not, accept it or not, belive it or not - Everybody has a belief system. Some might deny but its there, it is just that you don't notice it. Those who are not that religios might say that they don't have a belief system. True, they don't have a belief system - BASED on religion but they have and will have some sort of belief system maybe based on feeling/emotions like fear.
So to have a healthy belief system is belive in God because HE is always positive unlike fear which is negative. God always want the best for His people. He provides and gives what we need and not what we want.
Some people have a division of turst among the trust in things, in people, in God, in Yourself.
But what we should have, is a 100% trust in God and we shall get 100% return from HIM. God wants us to live our lives full of purpose and to trust in Him is wanting to know the TRUTH.

Session 3 - What is LOVE?
God's LOVE is the solution to life.
God is LOVE and LOVE itself.
There is no limit to God's LOVE.
He is forever pouring, overflowing with LOVE and it is up to us whether to receive the LOVE or not.
God doesn't abandon us or hate us. God is forever at our doorstep, waiting to be invited by us.
So it is up to us whether to invite Him into our house - our hearts and to receive his abundants of LOVE. God's LOVE can fill our hearts or even overflow it if we are willing to accept it.
God's LOVE is unmerited.
Even though we might not deserve God's LOVE, but HE gives us anyway.
We might not deserve His LOVE but HE love us anyway because HE is forever generous, merciful and forgiving. God's LOVE never fails us.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 and 13
Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Session 4 - From Grace comes Power.
There are 2 things in this world - Real and Fake / Counterfeit and Genuine
Real/Genuine is of course the real deal.
and
Fake/Counterfeit is the opposite of the real deal.
Some fake things these days such as pirated Dvds can be as good as a real one - or i like to say it, its so fake that its real.
If we look at a 100 fake notes and 1 real note for 20 days. We can tell the difference between the 100 fake notes but in the end the fake notes are still fake but if we've seen the real note, we can identify the fake notes clearly without any doubts.
Jesus Christ is the real deal. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the begin and the end and also LOVE. Our Lord Jesus Christ is all about LOVE, PASSION and all good. We don't see people go around killing people and say its for Him. That will be against Him and that he is either mentally ill or trying to stain the Lord's name. The Lord doesn't call us to kill and steal. Instead, He calls us to search for thr TRUTH, our identity,authority and purpose. The purpose is already there, by Him is up to us to look and understand it.
All and all, the camp was just AWESOME.
PS : one of the best part is to get the chance to see Doreen in a gown. Bless You Doreen.
God's makeover doesn't end now, today or tomorrow. It will continue through out our lives.
