The True Meaning of Christmas.

It was 4pm and i was still cling in my rags of singlet and shorts, enjoying my top gear after having my pack of lunch and waiting for it to be partially digest so i can continue cleaning my room. A phone call came from Mr Samuel Leong a.k.a (I am gay and i sleep with other guys in my room). He said they wanted to come to my house and look for me.

And i actually almost forgot that Sabrina and Kerry were coming down on the 23rd. That time, i still didn't know for what reason. Then i quickly changed and went down stairs to greet them. So there they are, Kerry, Sabrina, Bryan, Samuel, June Ling and Kai Shen. Without hesitation, Sabrina told me to grab my gear and join them.

And i did grab my gear and join them.....without knowing what are we doing. And so they told me that CGBC Campus Connect is having a Christmas Celebration and they were going to attend it. Then we went into the car and went to find Esmond in eastlake and he's having flu :( .

Went into his eastlake apartment:
-Everybody was bored.
-Sabrina was somehow high
-Sabrina saw a deck of cards.
-And here we go.

We played cars for some time and eventually decide its time to head off where the girls wanted to go see clothes and the guys...no idea. Anyway, june ling sent me home so i can continue to clean my room. Around 6.30, i bath and went to Vegas to have dinner with them. I can't believe i was actually stuffed by a normal ole' fish and chip. Kerry and Sabrina can't finish their one plate fish and chip. 2 person cannot finish one plate....and everybody was stuffed....eventually, the waiter came and took it away.

After that i went home to take my Santa hat a.k.a thinking hat as known to Sabrina. lol. Went to Campus Connect (Beside 21st) and we were greeted with presents and ushers. Been a long have i not felt the hospitality of my fellow brothers and sister in Christ. We sung Christmas Song, watch their sketches, mime and had pastor Josephraj to convey the words of the Lord to us.

It was Christmas and it was about promise. Christmas, a holiday celebrated by many, indeed many, regardless of race and even religion. We go shopping for presents, we go and look at beautiful Christmas decoration in and around us, and not to forget dressing up like Santa.

No. Christmas is not about presents and santas. Its about the birth of Christ, the promise that was given that when Jesus is born, he would eventually die and suffer on the Cross. For who? For us, each and everyone us, even YOU. He died on the cross to wash us clean of our sins and so that we can have eternal life up in heaven with Him, GOD.

But even if we do know, we are humans, we get estranged by temptations and eventually, we forget. That's what happen to us. We forget. And we would only remember presents and Christmas trees when we think of Christmas. Yes, we can remember those things but don't forget that we are celebrating the Birth of Christ.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" - John 3:16

Merry Christmas Everybody and God Bless :)
