Recently UTAR Kampar has imported some really massive bronze statues into its grounds to mark the university's vision to harmonize the concept of west whilst maintaing its self-identity of east..?
Not really sure, don't really understand.
Not that i didn't try to understand but maybe just that i'm too ignorant,
but in fact, i get the overview of the whole thing,
TRUST ME, although I'm not an engineer
On the left weighting 700kg representing the East, its confucious Himself!
and
On the right weighting 700kg representing the West, contributed to the end of WWII and possibly the end of mankind in future, Albert Eistein!

Now, don't get me wrong here, these sculptures icon are pretty symbolic and they represent a general idea of things and how it influence the majority.
However, if I were given the chance to choose a iconic sculpture, it would be,
THE THINKER!
Reason? Simply because it doesn't represents any fixated idea on things and it allows the mind to go beyond what the icons like those 2 above suppose to. The thinker represents the encouragement of thoughts.
Let me give you guys an example, you see the Thinker, in a thinking position, and you would wonder,
What is he thinking about?
