#127 Ignorance

Today I've encountered a few things that I have been meaning to share about to you guys who this post may come in contact with. The main content of this post involve and has direct meaning with its title - IGNORANCE.

Throughout our lives, we've been trained and thought so that we can be ready to fight, compete and survive!

As we all know, to remain competitive, we must equip ourselves in the best and possible ways. Now here is the thing, equipping ourselves with the best possible there is out there and of course, within our reach and grasp, and one of it is knowledge!

I came across some faggot being overly ethnocentric to the point that they have stuck their ass in their own shithole so long that they condemn others out there.

Let me enlighten you guys more with an example:

As a Chinese myself, I am proud to be a Chinese, I'm proud to be part of this ethnicity, I went to a Mandarin  School and happily went on to a "English School" and I am where I am right now today. I can read, speak and if God willing, write in Mandarin and have no issues communicating in Mandarin (especially via sms because to me me pinyin is something very easily identifiable). The only thing is that I am accumstomed to English and English, believe it or not, is the easiest way to communicate because it only consist of romanized letters (Eg: w h a t -> what) whereas mandarin requires me to enter another process (Eg: w o a i n i -> wo ai ni ->我爱你).

You can call me a hypocrite and that I suck and other kinds of shit but in my defense, I have enough Chinese  knowledge to solidify my identity as a full fledge Chinese and I have not defame or in any sort of way trying to move it towards extinction. Heck, I've even planned to sent my children to be just like me, Mandarin based primary to get their fix of mandarin and English school to move them into the right direction.

Being half English educated doesn't mean that I've forgotten my roots, I've always have my roots in-check, of how Malaysian Chinese have travelled to Malaysian and throughout the generations, how they have worked so hard through blood, sweat and tears to ensure that the next generation doesn't have to go through the hardship that they have gone through. I thanked my parents, my grandparents for putting me in a good position and I've always vowed to do the best and ensure that the next generation gets even better from what   I've already been getting now and of course, without spoiling them and showing them what we have gone through over the generations.

People get really selfish when they're in their comfort zone, reluctant to move, reluctant to try something new, reluctant to help themselves to something even greater and always conforming to their own ignorance.

Despite the wall of text that I've just bullshitted, having ignorant people means having less competition and higher opportunity margin for me to succeed in live, as a Chinese.
